The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has been confirmed to be in the works and is expected to debut later this year. After appearing on China’s 3C certification and Geekbench, the upcoming Samsung phone appeared on the Wireless Power Consortium website this week. This reveals Qi wireless charging support and it confirms the phone’s name and model number SM-S711U. There is also a image of the phone in complete black but the design appears similar to the renders that leaked recently. Beyond this, the listing doesn’t spill any beans about the specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE specifications (expected)
- Display: The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is expected to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
- Processor: The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be powered by the Exynos 2200 SoC, as revealed through the Geekbench listing. However, there are reports of a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 variant for global markets.
- RAM and storage: The handset could come in two variants with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
- Cameras: The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to house a 50MP rear camera along with an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens. There could be a 12MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
- OS: The phone is likely to ship with Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 custom skin out of the box.
- Battery: The smartphone is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
That’s pretty much everything we so far know about the phone but since the handset has been confirmed to be in the works by Samsung itself, we presume the launch might not be that far away.
