Amid several speculations, a new rumour indicates the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro might not have more RAM than the outgoing iPhone 14 Pro, which was launched last year. This hints that the iPhone 15 Pro will likely feature only 6GB RAM instead of the speculated 8GB RAM.

iPhone 15 Pro RAM details

Apple will likely use the A17 Bionic chip on the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ Max models, as per convention, and a new rumour from URedditor on X details the chip.

• The A17 Bionic chip is said to have a 6-core CPU and 6-core GPU. It should be noted that the A16 Bionic chip had a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, so this would be one more GPU core for Pro/ Pro Max users.
• Also, the A17 Bionic chip’s CPU could go up to 3.70 GHz, more than the A16 Bionic chip’s 3.46 GHz.
• Interestingly, the rumour suggests the A17 Bionic chip will come with 6GB of RAM, just like the A16 Bionic chip. This goes against earlier speculations of an upgraded 8GB RAM for the iPhone 15 Pro.
• The tipster mentioned they’ve only seen 6GB so far and that 8GB seems unlikely, but maybe not impossible.
