Leaked image suggests Apple is launching colourful USB-C cables to match with iPhone 15 models

The iPhone 15 series is expected to debut around September 12th or 13th. Even as we approach the launch date, there are still multiple leaks and reports on the upcoming iPhones. The latest one adds to the speculation that Apple is indeed switching to USB-C ports for the iPhone 15 series. To make things interesting, it might even just offer colourful USB-C cables that match with your iPhone.

iPhone 15 series USB cables

There are fresh leaks on the iPhone 15’s USB-C cables, and these suggest a colourful bunch. One comes from the leaker Majin Bu who shared images of what’s supposed to be the USB-C cables of the iPhone 15 series. There’s a pink, black and light bluish-grey coloured cable. The source of these images, though, aren’t confirmed so we can’t say for sure.

But in another leak, Apple device prototype collector ‘Kosutami’ also shared images of USB-C cables where there are five colour options. These include black, yellow, pink, blue and purple. Judging by the colour palette, it seems very Apple-like, and these colours might just match with the iPhone 15 models too.

Apple has been very playful with colours offering a range of options and shades to choose from, and this is evident in not just the iPhones but iMacs, and even iPads. So it won’t be surprising if it does offer colourful USB-C cables. But otherwise, the latest leaks further add to the possibility of USB-C ports on the iPhone 15 series, which would be a big move for Apple, and good news for iPhone users as well.

The more expensive iPhone 15 Pro models are said to come with titanium frames and smaller bezels.
