Samsung Galaxy S23 series regardless of the region shipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, including in India. This was a welcome change considering it offered better performance. However, the happiness might not last long as rumours started flowing that Samsung is opting for Exynos (Exynos 2400) again for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series. Now, a new leak claims that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will not have an Exynos 2400 variant regardless of the region.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in all regions

• According to tipster, Setsuna Digital, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus would come equipped with an Exynos 2400 chip in select regions.
• The tipster further claims that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, regardless of the region.
• This means that Samsung is retaining the superior performance experience for the Ultra model, while the regular S24 and S24 Plus will get either of the chipsets based on region.  
• Undoubtedly, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will offer better performance than the Exynos 2400 SoC with no throttling or heating issues.
• Since the launch is not until early 2024, we suggest you take this news with a pinch of salt.

• Recent reports claimed the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to get a base configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This will help to have a slightly lower starting price.
• Furthermore, the maximum storage capacity will be increased to 2TB, compared to 1TB on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
• The Exynos 2400 chipset will be paired with Xclipse 940 GPU, which is tipped to have been developed in partnership with AMD and is based on RDNA 2 technology.
• The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, ultra-slim bezels, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
• The handset will continue to have support for S Pen.
• The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is tipped to have a 50MP telephoto camera, a 200MP primary lens and a 10MP periscope lens.
• The Dekra Certification showed the phone will pack a 5,100mAh battery.
