Google is back with another episode for its ‘Best Phones Forever’ YouTube series where it’s been putting the Pixel against the iPhone, and making fun of the latter. The YouTube series has been running for over three months now as Google prepares for its upcoming launch on October 4th. The latest one talks about the iPhone event, and how the Apple device is nervous about the Pixel launch.
iPhone fears Pixel launch will be more ‘in-in-innovative’
The two popular phones are back with the Pixel narrating a scary story to the iPhone. This time the series shows how nervous the iPhone is for the Pixel’s upcoming launch, and the “groundbreaking AI features, eye-catching design” that it’s going to come with. It also talks about everyone’s going to start comparing the two phones’ cameras, AI and all.
The Pixel mentions how the iPhone event just took place but also takes this moment to subtly talk about how it lacked any major upgrade. The iPhone says the only things it got new were a “different mute button, a dynamic-er island, and a new charging port”, and how it fears the Pixel launch to be “more in-in-innovative”. The Pixel then says, “iPhone, no launch is bigger than our friendship.” The two are then interrupted by an old sliding phone with a qwerty keyboard.
This video seems to be the most brave from Google’s side, and it does put a good amount of expectations on the Pixel 8 series. The iPhone 15 series just launched, and while it is having its fair share of troubles, these are one of the most popular devices in the world. So it’s interesting to see how exactly Google plans to outshine the iPhones.
The Google Pixel 8 series launch event is scheduled to take place on October 4th. Google is launching the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and the Pixel Watch 2. All three devices are coming to India as well.
