iPhone 15 series is set to debut on September 12th and the lineup is expected to include four models. The recent leaks and reports have revealed quite a bit about the phones. Now, ahead of the announcement, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro dummies have surfaced online and these show off the new colour options. What’s interesting is the addition of a USB Type-C port on these units.
iPhone 15 and 15 Pro colours
- The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro dummy units were shared on Twitter by Sonny Dickson.
- The images show five colour options for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus and four colours for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
- The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will come in Black, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Pink colours, as per the leaked dummies.
- On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro could come in Space Black, Silver, Blue, and Titan grey options.
- As said, the dummy units show the USB Type-C port on all the iPhone 15 models and new textured titanium edges on the Pro versions. The matte edges and titanium finish replace the glossy stainless steel edges on current models.
The dummy units show no major design changes over the outgoing models, including the camera arrangement on the back panel. It appears that Apple is going for hardware improvement this time around instead of design changes.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max could retain the same Dynamic Island design. There are chances the non-Pro versions could also get the same interactive pill-shaped design.
Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro series could see’ solid-state volume and power buttons, similar to the home button found on iPhone SE or before models. We also see the SIM tray section on the right spine. Apple will retain the same boxy chassis but the weight management is something we need to see.
