Apple finally unveiled the iPhone 15 series at the ‘Wonderlust’ event on Tuesday. Amidst the announcements, Apple has also officially slashed the prices of older iPhones and entirely discontinued some models. Here are the details on the iPhones receiving a price cut.

As you can see, the new prices are significantly lower than their launch prices, making them affordable for users to grab. Do note these prices are applicable on the Apple website and the selling cost on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart might vary. If you were eying price drops on old iPhones, now would be a good time to grab.
However, do note the upcoming Dussera/Diwali sales on these platforms should further decrease the prices.
iPhones discontinued post iPhone 15 launch
Besides the price cut, Apple has discontinued the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max and previous generation Non-Pro/Pro models. While the products are currently not listed on the Apple website, e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Croma and others will have these products for sale considering they will have their own stock inventory. The older iPhone models will continue to receive software updates so you have nothing to worry about if you wish to purchase these discontinued models.
iPhone 15 series: what’s new
This iteration brings significant upgrades in terms of performance, camera and the overall design. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max ship with a Titanium frame and a new A17 Pro 3nm chipset. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models have borrowed the Dynamic Island design from the iPhone 14 Pro models and the 48MP camera sensor.
