OnePlus 12 is going to be announced on December 5th, a day after the company’s 10th anniversary celebration event. However, the phone would take some time to launch outside China. Its promotional microsite suggests it will launch globally and in India on January 24th. The Indian microsite is more telling in this regard. Here, have a look:

OnePlus 12 has been listed on the OnePlus website’s global and Indian edition. When you go to the page, you’ll see the following OnePlus 12 promo video. It shows the green-coloured variant and how it is inspired by nature.
Now, on this page, you’ll see an invite to subscribe to the OnePlus 12 launch event. By clicking on the Subscribe button, you’ll get a chance to win the phone itself or the company’s next product.
Next to this button, there’s a Terms and Conditions link. In case of the oneplus.com/uk, tapping on this link takes you to a new page wherein you’ll see the campaign duration to be Nov.27.2023 – Jan.23.2024.
However, if you tap on the link on the Indian website, i.e., oneplus.com/in, the page you land on reveals the campaign ends a day before the OnePlus 12 launch event.

OnePlus 12: what to expect
- Alert slider: The OnePlus 12 alert slider will be on the left side to facilitate new and improved gaming antennas.
- Design: The phone follows the design language of its predecessor but with slight changes. It still has a massive circular camera island on the back. The edges by the back are a bit curved whilst the front is flat, with thin bezels and a punch-hole cutout.
- Colours: You can pick up the phone in green, black and white hues.
- Display: The phone is expected to get a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO BOE X1 OLED screen.
- Cameras: The front camera could be a 32MP shooter while the back could hold a 50MP+50MP+64MP triplet.
- Internals: The phone could be running on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, and a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
