Redmi India has announced the Redmi Note 13 series will be launched in India on January 4th, 2024. The phones originally debuted in China way back in September and the lineup consists of Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. While we wait for the official launch, the Redmi Note 13 series has been spotted on Amazon and Flipkart websites with dedicated microsites. This confirms the online availability of the phones but doesn’t reveal any hardware specifications.
Redmi Note 13 series microsites go live
- The micro-site reads the “SuperPower SuperNote” tagline and mentions the launch date.
- The microsite on Amazon says “Amazon Special,” which means they will be exclusively sold on the e-commerce platform in addition to Mi.com/in.
- In contrast, the Flipkart micro-site doesn’t say anything on those lines but since there is a micro-site, we believe the Note 13 phones should also be sold on Flipkart as well.
- Only the 5G versions of the Redmi Note 13 series will be launched in India, going by the teasers.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro specifications
- Display: 6.67-inch 1.5K FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
- Battery, charging: Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The standard Pro model has a 5,100mAh battery but with 67W fast charging support.
- Software: Android 13-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box.
- Processor: Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
- RAM and storage: Up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
- Cameras: 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
