The Samsung Galaxy S24 series launch is inching closer as the upcoming phones make more appearances online. The entire Galaxy S24 lineup has now been spotted on the US FCC certification site confirming their arrival in the country. The FCC listing also reveals few details about the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 phones get FCC certification
- Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra have all been spotted on the US FCC certification site.
- The listing confirms we’re gonna get three flagship models, and hints at an imminent launch.
- The FCC listing doesn’t reveal any key specs but mentions the presence of UWB (ultrawide band), 5G, and NFC on the Galaxy S24 series.
- The Galaxy S24 series has already been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC website, and India’s BIS as well.
- Samsung is yet to officially start teasing its upcoming flagship phones.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series specs (expected)
- Samsung Galaxy S24 is expected to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ display, while the Galaxy S24+ gets a bigger 6.7-inch display. The Ultra model is tipped to come with a 6.8-inch WQHD+ display. All three phones will most likely come with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos.
- This time only the Galaxy S24 Ultra is tipped to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will launch in Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon models depending on the market.
- Rumors suggest the Galaxy S24 will come with only 8GB RAM, while the S24+ will get a 12GB option as well. The Ultra model is expected to come with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage.
- A triple camera setup with a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP Sony IMX564 ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP Sony IMX754+ telephoto lens providing 3x optical zoom is expected on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
- The Galaxy S24+ could pack a 4,900mAh, while the Ultra gets a 5,000mAh battery. Both phones are expected to offer 45W fast charging support.
- On the software front, all three phones are expected to run Android 14 with One UI layered on top.
