Leaked Google Pixel 9 Pro renders reveal smaller display, redesigned camera module

Google launched the flagship Pixel 8 series in October last year. This time too we’re expecting the next-gen Pixel phones that should feature at least two models — Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. It’s never to early to start talking about phones that are months away from their intended release timeline, which is why we already have a leak on the Pixel 9 Pro. These are renders and a video based on what could be the design of the next Google flagship.

Google Pixel 9 Pro renders, 360-degree video leaked

• These renders of the Pixel 9 Pro come from a collab between OnLeaks and MSP. It shows a good look on the phone’s possible design and what to expect from the next Google flagship.
• The Pixel 9 Pro is seen sporting a flat display with a punch-hole camera, which is said to be 6.5 inches. This would be smaller than the Pixel 8 Pro’s 6.8-inch display. 
• The phone looks quite compact but with thin bezels, and flat edges unlike the Pixel 8 Pro that has curved sides. This design gives off an iPhone 15-like look with the flat edges but the Pixel phone looks broader. 
• The power button and volume keys are visible on the right side while the USB-C port, speaker grille and SIM card tray are placed at the bottom. 
• The rear cameras also get a slight makeover with a more compact camera island. Now the camera module doesn’t spread to both ends of the phone but tucks in the sensors better. It still looks thick like the previous models.

The report further adds that the Pixel 8 Pro will feature triple rear cameras with a wide angle lens, a telephoto lens, and a periscope one as well. It’s still too early to say but the cameras are one area we can definitely count on Google to offer some major improvements as with every Pixel generation.

This was the first look at the Pixel 9 Pro but we’re still low on details about the phone. We should start hearing soon though on the next generation Pixels.
