Qualcomm is all set to unveil the much-awaited Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset this month. The upcoming chipset is said to power a number of upcoming flagships, including the iQOO 12, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and more. However, before its launch, a tipster has leaked the AnTuTu scores for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which hints that the chipset will perform much better than the previous one.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AnTuTu score
- On Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) shared that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip received a total score of 2 million points. While its predecessor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, scored 1.6 million points in comparison.
- The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is said to provide a 40 percent boost in the AnTuTu GPU test compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Specifically, it scored 840k points in the GPU test.
- As per reports, the upcoming chipset is anticipated to use a new Adreno 750 GPU, which is probably the main reason for the substantial increase in performance.

- The tipster states that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 achieved a score of 440k points in the CPU test, which is just 15.7 percent better than its predecessor.
- Furthermore, the tipster mentioned that the chipset used in the benchmark comes with LPDDR5T RAM, a newer and faster type of RAM compared to LPDDR5X.
- However, it’s uncertain whether the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in actual smartphones will have LPDDR5T or LPDDR5X RAM.
